Keeping the thread on topic. If true the " moon landing" is one of the most significant achievements in the history of mankind. Am I right in thinking NASA lost the original raw footage?
The Rebel.
so i was fooled by the witnesses.
what can i learn from that?
not to accept things at face value but to seek out opinion and different view points.. hence my question " do you believe man landed on the moon?.

sir 82 a lot of Presidents of the U.S.A have believed God told them to go to war. Men who have had their finger on the nuclear arsenal.
It seems nowadays everyone is now talking about getting to Mars and making a base. I would have thought the logical option would be go to the moon first, it is a lot closer, and then from the moon onwards to Mars.

Well I started this debate and what have I learnt?
Well what strikes me as interesting, and quite surprising is that people are so divided whether it was fake or not. It appears to be a 50.50 split.

Thanks for the replys.
Witness My Fury, your Link gave some very convincing arguments in favour of man landing on the moon in 1969.
adjusted knowledge your point about the number of people involved to fake the moon theory was once an irrefutable objection for me . However I now believe that the amount of people needed to be involved to fake the moon landing were very few. However the majority of people involved in the project would have needed to have been fooled, and that is not beyond reason.
Personally I think give it 10 years and if man hasn't gone back to the moon the conspiracy theory looks strong. Give it 50 years and if man hasn't gone back to the moon I think " conspiracy theorists" have an extremely strong case.

Myself I am skeptical, was technology in 1969 so advanced?
The fact that nobody has gone back.
The fact that governments have often used " Magician's "to create illusions to fool the enemy in war, means they can also fool the public in peace time.
That with modern technology and modern telescopes no pictures of the flag, or the shuttle crafts left behind have been presented.
To say I don't believe man landed on the moon would be wrong. I guess I am 50/ 50 on it, so I would value your opinions, and hopefully it will make an interesting thread.

recently there have been several claims made regarding prophecies that came true.
i've not personally seen a prophecy that i would consider as having come true.
i would consider the following as the requirements to say something is a prophecy and evaluate whether or not it came true:.
Going back to the O.P my prophecy fails to give a specific date for its fullfilment.
This was indeed an interesting thread.

How about:-
predicted ca 760 B.C: Amos predicts Israel would be restored as a nation and would never be uprooted again. ( Amos 9: 15)
Fullfilled in 1948.
Whist on the subject of prophecy, here is one from " The Rebel" One day there will be a female president of the United States..

why would you proceed to invite me to their meetings?
wtf?
how much clearer can i make my stance????
Heaven,
Thanks for the comments. To a lesser degree I share a similar exsperience.
I can only imagine my complete surprise if a family member or witness listened to my balanced and reasonable arguments as to why they are worshipping a man made organisation.
still I think it's wonderful you are there for your family in the sticky moments they need you. Sometimes I think that is all we can do.
hi i am delighted to be apart of the community.. having left the witnesses one of my first challenges was my believe in god.
naturally.. i have concluded that i am alive and conscious.
now my intuition tells me god exists, but my analytical thinking tells me god does not exist.
Just one further point.
i think the most difficult part about my amazing transformation in beliefs, was having to conclude that so many of those I admire, or looked up to are so adamant that God exists. Of course now I can indulge myself as an outsider, and in most cases I realise I saw an organisation being worshipped and believed in, not God.
p.s please not so hard on Perry, people are free to believe what they believe, and it wasn't so long ago I would have agreed wholeheartedly with Perrys comment.
